Our Dentists
Dr. Jonathan Murphy – Specialist in Prosthodontics
GDC Number: 74959
Jonathan qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1998 and over the next few years gained further experience in hospital departments and general dentistry before starting specialist training in 2001. His name was placed on the Specialist Register in Prosthodontics – the science and art of replacing missing teeth by using implants, bridges, dentures and crowns.
Jonathan then set up an Implant Referral Practice in Haywards Heath and Hove treating advanced and complex cases with the latest techniques and materials. Having a young family, he then decided to move his work closer to home and took over The Dental and Implant Clinic Southbourne.
Jonathan enjoys cycling and sailing with his family and has a 1955 2CV which he is slowly restoring.
Dr. Simon Jones – BDS Lond

Simon grew up locally, spending his childhood in Warblington.
He qualified as a dentist in 1993 from the Royal London Hospital Medical College and continued his training in the hospital service for two years to become a Senior House Officer in maxillo-facial surgery.
After backpacking around the world for a year he then settled into practice around London, Brighton and then back to the Chichester area.
He is married to Ritu, an orthodontist and loves spending time with his two young daughters.
Any other free time is occupied by his love of photography, music and movies.
“My ethos is to provide excellent all round care for my patients. I really enjoy people and take pride in providing the best service possible”

Kelly Ayling
GDC Number: 142637
Initially I qualified as a dental nurse in 2004.
I found that I wanted to expand my skills and knowledge in dentistry. I knew the role of dental hygienist/therapist was what I wanted to pursue. I qualified from the University Of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2012.
Over the last six years I have worked in private and NHS practices helping to improve patient’s knowledge and understanding of dental health along with giving practical tips to improve oral hygiene. I find working with children particularly rewarding.
I have 3 children who all love to play football. I have a passion for cooking, particularly Jamie Oliver and I like to read, especially Patricia Cornwall books.

She also enjoys the theatre, opera, cinema and dog walks with her energetic sprocker, Liffey.
